Munawar Faruqui’s son Mikael was recently hospitalised after he suffered a viral infection. His wife, Mehzabeen Coatwala, shared an update on his health on social media along with a sweet note, calling Mikael her “ba boy” and also urging parents to be cautious about their kids’ hygiene.
Mehzabeen shared a heartfelt message along with a photo with Mikael. She wrote, “To all parents, with the viral infections going around, let’s be extra cautious. Keep an eye on your kids’ hygiene and take care! Get well soon my ba boy.”
Munawar Faruqui married makeup art Mehzabeen in 2024. This is Mehzabeen’s second marriage, and she has a daughter from her previous relationship. She has often shared photos of her blended family on Instagram. Munawar and Mehzabeen tied the knot just months after he won Bigg Boss 17. During his stay in the Bigg Boss house, Munawar had revealed that his ex-wife had already remarried and that he had sole custody of their son.

Munawar was rumoured to be dating Nazila Sitaishi while he was in the Bigg Boss house. However, it was during his time on the show that Nazila broke up with him via Instagram Live. He then married Mehzabeen after knowing her for just five months. Munawar also chose not to share any details of their wedding on social media.

Recently, in a conversation with Farah Khan, Munawar Faruqui shared that he decided to settle down with Mehzabeen because he wanted to provide a stable home for his son, who would otherwise temporarily stay with his ser while he was working. He said, “When he was leaving, I felt like he needs me and more than him, I think I need him. In that moment. I thought what is it that I should do so I can make him stay with me. For him, I took that decision,” he said. Since Mehzabeen was in a similar situation with her daughter, they decided to tie the knot.
