MI vs GT XI qualifier 2 tip-off: Darshan Nalkande to miss out, Mumbai unlikely to make any changes

IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians (MI) and Gujarat Titans (GT) are all set to lock horns against each other in the second qualifier of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
With ten victories in 14 games, GT took the top spot in the points standings this season. MI, on the other hand, are currently in fourth place in the standings with eight victories out of 14 games.
With Chennai Super Kings as their opponent, GT won the toss and decided to bowl in the first IPL 2023 qualifier. CSK made 172 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs with the help of an opening partnership of 87 runs between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway. Gill attempted to ass GT in getting over the finish line scoring 42 runs off of 38 deliveries. GT ultimately scored just 157 runs in 20 overs, losing the match a margin of 15.
For the first time in their 2 years hory of IPL, Gujarat Titans are playing a game to stay alive and as the two teams gear up to square off, tonight’s clash from Motera would be a cracker of a game.

Darshan Nalkande to miss out
Titans substituted Darshan Nalkande for Yash Dayal in the qualifier 1 against the Super Kings, however Nalkande was limping following his bowling performance. Dayal might be reinstated if Nalkande is unfit. Josh Little could be substituted the Titans, but Shanaka would then be released. Little is the favourite because of his previous experience and superior bowling statics when compared to the uncapped Indians, especially in a knockout game.

As far as Mumbai Indians are concerned, it’s highly unlikely that they are going to make any changes
MI vs GT Pitch Report: In Ahmedabad, the temperature reached 43. To prevent an unnatural breakdown, curators have covered the pitch. The game’s field is one of the least-used strips; the centre has nine surfaces; it was brought in to supposedly provide a run fest.
It has received enough water to ensure that some moure helps bind it underneath. The curator anticipates a season-long pace and bounce. Because of the chemical they use to stop it from forming, dew isn’t anticipated to be a significant factor.
