A 20-year-old Ukrainian model, missing for 10 days after attending a private party in Dubai, was found severely injured on the side of a road with a broken spine and multiple limb fractures, reports say.
On March 9, the victim informed her friends and family that she was attending a gathering at a Dubai hotel. However, concerns grew when she failed to board her scheduled flight to Thailand and became unreachable. Ten days later, she was discovered in a near-dead state, covered in blood and with a broken spine, according to reports.
In an official statement issued via the Government of Dubai Media Office, Dubai Police confirmed to Gulf News that the woman sustained serious injuries from a fall at a restricted construction site, contradicting her family’s claims that she may have been trapped in one of Dubai’s alleged “sex parties” where Eastern European models are reportedly exploited.

Russian media quoted the victim’s relatives suggesting that she was “raped for several days” before being abandoned on the roadside.
The incident occurred on March 12, and witnesses at the scene alerted emergency services after which the woman was taken to a hospital. Currently undergoing medical treatment in Dubai, the model has undergone four surgeries. Her mother has flown in from Norway to be her side.
According to reports, the victim had been in contact with two men from the modelling industry in Dubai and had planned to stay with them overnight. Her family’s next update came only when she was found severely injured more than a week later.

“We urge the public and media to refrain from sharing unverified information and to respect the privacy of the individual and her family during this difficult time,” Dubai Police said in a statement.
