Motorola enters the Indian PC market with moto book 60 | Technology News

On Thursday, Motorola unveiled its first PC for the Indian market — the Moto Book 60. Powered the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor, Motorola’s debut laptop comes in eye-catching, Pantone-curated colour options such as Bronze Green and Wedgewood, with a starting price of Rs 61,999.
In addition, the company also introduced the Moto Pad 60 Pro, featuring a large 12.4-inch 3K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Powered the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chip, the tablet is priced at Rs 26,999 and comes bundled with the Moto Pen Pro stylus. Both devices will be available for purchase starting April 23 via Flipkart and Motorola.in.
“These introductions not only enhance our product portfolio but also strengthen our broader ecosystem play, delivering seamless interconnected experiences with Smart Connect, stunning looks, vibrant colours, and premium design — along with segment-leading hardware features that have been a legacy of Motorola. We are confident these additions will not only expand our portfolio but also reinforce our focus on building a cohesive ecosystem of connected experiences and reinforce Motorola’s position as a lifestyle technology brand focused on delivering meaningful innovation across categories,” said T.M. Narasimhan, Managing Director, Motorola India.

The Moto Book 60, powered either the Intel Core 5 Processor 210H or the Intel Core 7 Processor 240H, offers 16GB or 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB or 1TB of storage, with two additional PCIe storage slots for future expansion. The laptop also features a microSD card slot and a 1080p web camera with support for Windows Hello face recognition. It boasts a 14-inch OLED screen with 2.8K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 500 nits of peak brightness.

The laptop runs on Windows 11 and can be paired with Android smartphones and tablets — such as the Moto Pad 60 Pro — to create an ecosystem that enables features like Smart Clipboard, allowing users to wirelessly share files between devices.
Motorola claims that the Moto Book 60, equipped with a 60Whr battery, can deliver all-day battery life and supports fast charging via a USB-C port. The device also includes an always-on USB 3.2 port, which can be used to charge smartphones and accessories even when the laptop is idle.
