Actor Arsalan Naseer blames Fawad Khan for India’s Instagram ban on Pakani celebs: ‘Ice Age wali gilehri…’ | Bollywood News
Pakani actor Arsalan Naseer, who recently worked with Fawad Khan in their film Abir Gulaal, has blamed the actor of being the reason behind the restriction of Pakani actors’ Instagram accounts being blocked in India, including handles of Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan, which cannot be accessed Indian users. In fact, their film has also been banned in the country, in the light of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Calling him “Ice Age wali gilehri”, referring to the saber-toothed, long-snouted squirrel from Ice Age franchise with a particularly bad luck, Arsalan wrote, “Fawad Bhai film ap ne ki…. masla border pe shuru ho gaya…. ban mai ho gaya (Fawad bhai did a film, there are tensions at the border, but I am getting banned)…. Mind na kerna lekin aap wo ‘Ice Age’ wali Gulehri hain…. (please don’t mind but you are the squirrel from Ice Age).”

But, it is still unclear which account he is talking about, because both his social media accounts (Instagram and X) are visible and working for the Indian audience at the moment. Arsalan Naseer is also known for featuring in Chupke Chupke, Hona Tha Pyar and Siyaah.

Other Pakani celebrities whose Instagram accounts have been banned in India are Ali Zafar, Sanam Saeed, Bilal Abbas, Momina Mustehsan, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas, and Sajal Aly. While trying to open these handles, it says, “Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content.” The development comes after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which has increased the tensions between India and Pakan.
Meanwhile, actors such as Fawad, Mawra Hocane,singer Atif Aslam, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan still have their Instagram handles visible in India. For the unknown, a group of terrors attacked innocent tours in the woods of the Baisaran grassland near Pahalgam, killing 26 people. The attack has caused a worldwide outrage on the internet with India.
