In a statement released on social media, Dark Horse Comics confirmed that it would no longer publish Gaiman’s works, including the Anansi Boys comic series. Dark Horse began adapting Gaiman’s 2005 novel Anansi Boys into a comic series in June 2023, with plans for an eight-issue run. However, the series has now been abruptly cancelled after the release of its seventh issue in January 2025. The publisher expressed its seriousness about the allegations, noting that it would no longer be working with Gaiman moving forward.
