Newest conspiracy theory emerging from Pakan: Sikander Bakht says ‘Rohit Sharma tosses coin far away from opposition captains’ | Cricket-world-cup News
The ongoing cricket World Cup has been no short of entertainment and conspiracy theories. Pakan’s former player Sikander Bakht now has come up with one of such theories after India beat New Zealand 70 runs in the semi-final on Wednesday.
“Can I give you a conspiracy theory? At the time of the toss, Rohit Sharma throws the coin far from the range of any opposition captain. Thus, the opposition captain cannot go and cross-check about the call,” Bakht stated speaking on Geo News.
Bakht would also post a video of how Rohit has tossed the coin ahead of the games compared to other captains on his X account(formerly known as Twitter). “Very strange the way Rohit Sharma throw the coin at the toss, far away, don’t let other Captains see, compare to other Captains in the WC, any reason??” he would caption the post.

“Who decides where the coin should land? It is just for sponsorship! I feel embarrassed,” Wasim Akram said speaking on The Pavilion show on A Sports.
This has not been the first time a former Pakan player accused the Indian team of getting an unfair advantage in the tournament.
Earlier Hasan Raza alleged India of getting different balls from the other sides during games.“The way Siraj and Shami were swinging the ball, it seemed like the ICC or the BCCI were giving them different and suspicious balls in the second innings. An inspection is required to be done on the ball. There might be an additional layer of coating for a better swing.” he had said on ABN News.
