Not sure…I don’t really know about behind the scenes: Aiden Markram on Umran Malik not playing for SRH

At toss on Thursday, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Aiden Markram would be asked the reason behind Umran Malik not featuring in the team of late.
The Indian pace sensation has featured in just the seven off Sunrisers’ 12 games in the lead up to their meeting against Royal Challengers Bangalore and was again not named in the playing eleven against Faf du Plessis and Co.
Aiden Markram’s response would leave room for more speculations. “Not too sure to be honest. Certainly, he’s a player with the X factor, bowls at 150kph, but I don’t really what’s about behind the scenes but he has a lot of X factor,” Markram said.
Umran, who nabbed 22 wickets for Hyderabad last season, hasn’t been as successful in IPL 2023 with only five wickets to his name in seven innings.
Since his India debut last summer, the right arm quick managed to pick 24 wickets in 16 matches across the ODI and T20I formats.

Hyderabad have struggled with the ball in what has been a difficult season with just four wins in 12 games, sitting at the bottom of the points table ahead of their recent meeting.
