Nushrratt Bharuccha reveals she would rather work with Ranbir Kapoor than Kartik Aaryan: ‘I love his skill and craft’ | Bollywood News

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha recently shared that while she enjoys working with Kartik Aaryan, given a chance, she would like to be cast opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
In a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, Nushrratt spoke about her rapport with Kartik, and said “Kartik and I started together. We’ve done so much work together, and we have a certain image in front of people. He’s become a buddy, a partner in crime. We are working together all the time, and we are doing the same kind of roles. That’s the vibe I have created with him.”

Nushrratt Bharuccha also shared her admiration for Ranbir Kapoor and talked about his performance in Rockstar. She said, “Rockstar was the one for me that really… I was like, ‘What has he done? What has he done?’ There’s a shot where he’s standing under Khatara Bhai’s house after no one has been able to find him for months, and he is standing there in tattered clothes looking up. That look in his eyes – it’s very difficult to achieve; it’s sublime acting. It’s just another level of understanding the character that is bringing that out.”
Though her love and admiration for Ranbir are clear and unmakable, Nushrratt is very clear that she is not obsessed with Ranbir. “I don’t think I’m obsessed. I think he’s one person… and it might be hard to believe me, but I’m honestly saying this — I love his skill and craft. I just want to watch Ranbir Kapoor on screen. I just want to see him act. I think I’m in love with his craft and talent more than who he is as a person, because honestly, I don’t know him as a person. How can you really know someone? You can’t fully understand people even after years. I shot for only 6 days for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. How could I possibly know anyone in just 6 days?”

When asked to choose between Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan, Nushrratt didn’t hesitate—picking Ranbir for his craft. She said, “For work, it’s Ranbir Kapoor, but if I have to romance and fall in love with someone, it would be Shah Rukh sir.”Story continues below this ad
On the work front, Nushrratt Bharuccha was last seen alongside Soha Ali Khan in the Amazon Prime Video horror thriller Chorii 2.
