OnePlus to unleash new Nord, TVs – and you are invited!

Unlike most brands that treat their device launches simply as presentations, there is a brand that takes the release of a device quite seriously. It is in its Never Settling nature to not only deliver devices that are (flagship) killers but also launch events that are a league apart. As you must have guessed already, the brand we are talking about is OnePlus.
From pre-launch quizzes and games which can win you exciting prizes to creating virtual zones for experiencing devices for their viewers, OnePlus has taken the basic launch event to a different level altogether. So it is hardly surprising that people get almost as excited about OnePlus’ launch events as they do about devices from the brand itself.
Two months into 2022, it is time to feel those launch thrills again. OnePlus is all set to add new devices to its portfolio– the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G and the OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge.
You can tune in to follow the action live on February 17, 7 PM , on OnePlus’ ’ YouTube channel, . You also stand a chance to win a OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, OnePlus TV Y1S and many more exciting prizes pressing the ‘Notify Me’ button on the OnePlus Double Feature page. There are lucky draws for winners everyday.
The devices to be launched are winners themselves. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G follows in the footsteps ofthe OnePlus Nord CE, and focuses on delivering the core smartphone experience at an affordable price while packing many premium features. The phone will come in two colours, Bahama Blue with a gradient finish and Gray Mirror, which is more reflective and has a mirror-like finish. Both colours are even more dinct than the iconic Blue Marble shade that came with the original Nord. Behind this classy look is the low- diffusion cosmetic process that the brand uses in its flagship devices.
That stunning design is paired with Never Settling hardware. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is powered the Dimensity 900 chipset which brings AI smarts and 5G support to the phone. In best OnePlus tradition, the phone comes with super fast charging, with a 65W Super VooC charger that can fuel it enough to last all day in just 15 minutes. For all those who are not ready to give up their wired headphones, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will feature a 3.5 mm audio jack. It is also the first phone from OnePlus to come with an expandable memory card slot, which means you do not have to worry about running out of storage. The phone runs on OxygenOS , delivering the same smooth UI experience that you get on OnePlus flagship phones. All of this at a killer price.
The smartphone world is not the only one getting a new addition. OnePlus will be launching the OnePlus TV Y1S and the Y1S Edge along with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G on February 17. Just like its smartphones, OnePlus’ televisions too have disrupted the market and changed the way we think of televisions. The OnePlus TV Y1S and the Y1S Edge promise to continue this tradition. These televisions come with sleek bodies and bezel-less design and will feature a powerful Gamma Engine that optimises image quality and smart tunes visuals, delivering stunning colours and excellent details. They will run on Android TV 11 and will come with dual Band Wi-Fi connectivity.
The new televisions are also part of OnePlus’ super smart eco-system and work seamlessly with other OnePlus devices. Simply opening the OnePlus Buds case will connect them to the OnePlus TV and taking one of your OnePlus Buds Pro out of your ear will pause the content playing on the TV. You can turn the TVs on and off with a single tap on your OnePlus Watch, and the Smart Sleep feature will turn the television off when it senses that you have gone to sleep. You can also use the OnePlus Watch to scroll through content, control volume amongst other things.
Taking the smartness quotient of the OnePlus TVs to another level is the OnePlus Connect 2.0 app. It allows you to use your phone as a TV remote, letting you type with the help of TypeSync and scroll through TV content on your phone with TrackPad Control. The Smart Volume control automatically reduces the volume of the TV when you get a call and returns to the original volume when you have finished. The TV can be paired with five devices at the same time. These extremely feature-rich and premium TVs come from the house of OnePlus, so you can expect that the price will only unsettle competition, not consumers.
To find out even more, watch that launch on February 17. Grab some popcorn and tune in when the clock strikes seven in the evening, . Given OnePlus’ reputation, the products promise to be amazing!
