Donald Trump announced he will posthumously award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to conservative activ Charlie Kirk, praising his impact on American politics.

“Charlie was a giant of his generation, a champion of liberty and an inspiration to millions and millions of people,” Trump said after kirk was shot during an appearance at a Utah college campus earlier on Wednesday.
