Over 94 Covid-19 Care Centers started in State

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that work is in progress on a war footing for the supply of Remdesivir injections and arrangement of oxygen. As many as 94 Covid Care Centers have started operating in the districts of the state.

A total of Rs 2 crore has been made available to each district for the arrangements. Along with this, Rs one crore has been released separately from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to each district.

Chouhan held a virtual discussion with all collectors, commissioners, SPs and IGs from his residence today and sought information about the efforts being made to prevent Corona infection and issued necessary instructions.

It was told in the video conference that 200 boxes with a total of 9,264 Remdesivir injections have reached Indore Airport. Out of these 42 boxes were transported through the state plane to Bhopal, 7 to Ratlam and 4 to Khandwa. Similarly, 19 boxes are being transported from the state plane to Gwalior, 18 to Rewa, 39 to Jabalpur and 14 to Sagar. 57 Remdesivir injection boxes have been kept for Indore.

Chouhan has said that all collectors should face the Corona infection with full energy. All necessary arrangements should be ensured for citizens. Precautions must be fully followed. All essentials including oxygen, medicines and beds should be arranged in due course. He discussed in detail about the works being done for the prevention and management of Corona infection with the collectors of the state through video conference.

Chouhan said that Corona curfew should be strictly followed. Corona curfew should be imposed wherever necessary. Collectors should also consult the ministers’ in-charge of the districts, and be in constant touch with the CM Office and Health Department as well.

Chouhan said that innovations were made in some districts, for example tanker arrangement for oxygen in Bhopal.

In Barwani, the public was provided relief by controlling the testing charges. Chief Minister Chouhan informed that bed capacity is also being increased in AIIMS and Red Cross Hospital in Bhopal. Sukh Sagar Hospital of Jabalpur and other cities are also taking the support of private hospitals.
