The second day meeting of opposition unity took place in Bengaluru on Tuesday. 26 parties of the opposition have come together to defeat the BJP in the 2024 general elections. In the meeting, the name of the alliance of opposition parties has been decided as INDIA. Its full form is Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance.
This was announced by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at the press conference of the opposition parties. He said- A committee of 11 members and an office will be formed soon for coordination. It will be announced in our next meeting in Mumbai.
Kharge said- BJP has destroyed all the agencies of democracy like ED, CBI etc. We have political differences, but we have come together to save the country.
Earlier we met in Patna, where 16 parties were present. 26 parties participated in today’s meeting. Seeing this, NDA is holding a meeting with 36 parties. I do not know which parties they are. Are they even registered or not?
Today we have gathered here not for our own interest but to save the country. Our aim is that we will expose the failures of the government. I am happy that Rahul, Mamta all agree. Will fight together in 2024 and bring great results.
Who will lead the alliance, who will be the face. In response to this question, Kharge said – We are forming a coordination committee. These 11 names will be decided in the Mumbai meeting. Further information will be available only then.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee spoke after Kharge. He said- Dalit, Hindu, Muslim everyone’s life is in danger in the country. Be it Delhi, Bengal, Manipur, selling the government, buying the government, this is the job of the government. The name of our alliance is India, BJP, will you challenge India?
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said – In 9 years, the central government has ruined everyone. He sold the airport, ship, sky, earth and underworld. Every class of farmers, businessmen is unhappy with their government. We have gathered to save the country from the kind of hatred that is being spread in the country.
Former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray spoke in Bollywood style. He said- We have come to tell the country that I am here. Country is our family. We have come together to save our family.
Rahul Gandhi said- Today the voice of the country is being suppressed. The name INDIA was chosen because the fight is between NDA and India, between Modi and India. You know who will win when someone stands against India.
The idea of India is being attacked, BJP is doing this attack. Unemployment is increasing, billionaires are benefiting, who are close to Modi.
RJD and TMC had announced the new name earlier
Earlier, the Rashtriya Janata Dal, which was involved in the meeting, tweeted that the alliance of opposition parties is a reflection of India. RJD wrote with this – Now there will be pain in calling Prime Minister Modi India.
TMC MP also tweeted – Chak de India. And Congress MP Manickam Tagore wrote – India will win.
