Panasonic opens Smart Home Experience Centre with wellness, security, and AI at the core | Technology News

Panasonic has announced the launch of a new start of the art Smart Home Experience Centre in India. The company says it is a one-stop solution for all of its smart home offerings.
The company says it has designed the new Experience Centre around three key themes – wellness, security and convenience. Backed Panasonic’s Miraie IoT platform, the new centre showcases everything from indoor air quality systems to smart home automation alongside its wide range of security systems.
Some health and wellbeing solutions offered Panasonic include enhanced indoor air quality with HVAC system, an energy recovery ventilator, and a NanoeX generator for what the company terms as “a cleaner, more comfortable living environment.”

It also displayed its comprehensive range of security solutions like a video door phone product, a guard station, lob station, door station, indoor video door display and its Dome, Bulle and PTZ360 range of surveillance cameras.
Panasonic also displayed some capabilities of the MirAIe platform, which comes with mobile app support for electronics like smart switches, dimmers, retrofit controllers and select appliances. Some customisation options include pre-set lighting, custom scenes and drawing curtains based on select conditions.
Panasonic’s MirAIe platform which was introduced in 2020 now supports Matter, a standard for smart home compatibility. This allows users to integrate any Matter-enable device with the Smart Home system. The MirAIe app has been downloaded millions of times on Android and iOS bringing seamless control to users.
“Smarthome devices are known to collect vast amounts of data, essentially about user habits, routines, voice commands, etc. When asked about how Panasonic fostered trust in consumers who are concerned over their privacy”, Manish Sharma, Chairman and EGSO, Panasonic Life Solutions India, said that Panasonic believes in the ethos of privacy design. The executive said that the company believes in consent upgrades to offer a safe and secure environment to its consumers.Story continues below this ad
During the launch, Panasonic’s India leadership revealed that the brand was among the only providers to offer developers the full range of its Smart Home suite. Along with the launch, the company also arranged a demo. The Experience Centre features the brand’s offerings in flooring, kitchen, and bathroom solutions. One of the highlights of the demo was the ERV or energy recovery ventilation, a system that has been designed to optimise indoor air quality.
