Farah Khan’s cook Dilip says his room is smaller than the lift at Arpita Khan’s house, wants to know Aayush Sharma’s ‘cook ka pagar’ | Bollywood News

Farah Khan and her chef, Dilip, visited Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma’s lavish Mumbai apartment in their latest vlog. While Farah often jokes about how ‘poor’ she is in comparison to the people whose homes she goes to, this time it seemed like she actually meant it. Dilip was surprised that they aren’t in a hotel, as he remarked about the lob of Arpita’s building. He said, “The lift is bigger than my entire room,” as they made their way towards the apartment. Moments after setting foot inside the house, Farah joked that people could play cricket in the hallway.
Farah met Arpita and Aayush warmly, and was excited to meet their children, nine-year-old Ahil and five-year-old Ayat. Farah asked Ayat if she liked the Louis Vuitton bag she was carrying, and said that it was gifted to her Karan Johar. As Farah was admiring the view from Arpita and Aayush’s balcony, Dilip quietly asked Aayush how much their cook earns. He was also jealous when he got to know that the kitchen in their house, which isn’t used very often, has air conditioning. “Four air conditioners! Wow! And four refrigerators too,” he said, pointing at them excitedly. Arpita corrected him, “No, there are three.”

Farah warned him not to get too greedy, and told Arpita and Aayush not to poach him from her. Aayush said, “We used to have a cook, Montu ji. One day, I asked Arpita how much we pay him, and when she told me, I got a heart attack. It’s cheaper to order food from our building restaurant.” Farah was genuinely surprised to learn that they have a private restaurant in their building, and she said, “You really are very rich.”
Later in the vlog, Arpita and Aayush also spoke about how they fell for each other. Aayush said, “When I first saw her, she was sitting at a table at a restaurant, and ordering something. Her legs were dangling in the air. I thought she was very cute. She’s like a coconut. She has a tough exterior but a soft interior. When she came to my house for the first time, I learned about allergies for the first time. She got my curtains changed.”
Throughout the video, Farah and Dilip made regular jokes about how rich their guests were, and Farah literally got up from her chair when Aayush casually let slip that they took a private chef with them to Finland on a recent trip, because he knew he’d miss Indian food after a few days.
