Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will take on inconsent Punjab Kings in a crucial IPL at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali on Wednesday.
A win will give Mumbai Indians the much-needed push on the points table, while a loss will see them slip further and chart a familiar course like the previous edition. The Rohit Sharma-led team had finished 10th (last) in the previous edition.

Shokeen for Kartikeya
Mumbai might rope in off-spinner Hrithik Shokeen to match up against the three left-handers expected to feature in Kings’ top order – Shikhar Dhawan, Atharva Taide and Sam Curran. In case Shokeen plays he will be replace left-arm spinner Kumar Kartikeya.
Rathee to replace Chahar
Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar has endured his worst IPL season in terms of wicket-taking. He has bagged only three wickets in 31 over he has bowled so far. Kings might replace him with another leggie Mohit Rathee.
