Bouncing back with every rep: Rishabh Pant shares glimpses of recovery process | Cricket News

Rishabh Pant, who is recovering from an accident last December, shared a few glimpses from his recovery process on social media on Tuesday.
In the video shared on X, Pant can be seen attempting a plethora of weight lifting exercises as he looks forward to joining his IPL franchise Delhi Capitals as well as the Indian squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup next year.
“Bouncing back with every rep,” the video was titled with a hourglass emoji.
A week ago, DC retained their captain Pant for the upcoming IPL which came after Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket, Sourav Ganguly confirming in early November that Pant will play in the league.
“He’s (Pant) good now. He will play in the IPL next season,” Ganguly had told reporters as quoted PTI.

In August, Pant was seen batting in a club game in Bengaluru. Pant had visited a sporting facility near Bengaluru to take part in the Independence Day celebrations organised the JSW Foundation which co-owns Delhi Capitals.
He had also paid a visit to India’s training camp ahead of the Asia Cup.
In a video which was shared the Indian cricket board on social media, Pant was seen grinning from ear to ear as he enters the field and meets his teammates Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur, before heading for a chat with the head coach Rahul Dravid.
In December, Pant had the accident after his car collided with a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
The player jumped off his Mercedes in the nick of time as the car went up in flames after hitting the divider.
Pant went through surgery in Mumbai under the care of Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala in February this year, who treated Pant’s three ligaments in the right knee
