IPL 2023, PBKS v RCB: Virat Kohli, playing as the stand-in skipper scored a fine 59 off 47 and forged a 100-run stand with Fa Du Plessis to steer RCB to 174 for four after being put in to bat.
The total proved enough as Mohammed Siraj produced his best figures in the IPL to set up a 24-run win for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Punjab Kings on Thursday.
On the field, Kohli was often spotted in a pumped up mood and celebrating the fall of wickets with gusto.
He was even spotted playing ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ in the first over during a DRS review.

Kohli made 59 off 47 balls though the first half of his innings was more fluent.
