Farah Khan is witnessing a new level of fan excitement and admiration, thanks to her YouTube vlogs with her extremely funny cook, Dilip. She has often revealed that she started this journey to fund her three children, Divya Kunder, Anya Kunder, and Czar Kunder’s, university fees, as they were preparing to pursue higher education abroad. Now, the day has finally arrived. Farah took to Instagram to share a thoughtful gift from a friend: a box full of cupcakes, each decorated with the logo, name, and design of the foreign universities her three children are set to attend.
In fact, the official Instagram handle of DAIS Mumbai (Dhirubhai Ambani International School) shared pictures of her children, wishing them the best for the journey ahead. The posts also officially announced where each child is headed and detailed their chosen majors. A post featuring Farah’s daughter Divya revealed that she is off to Babson College, a private business school in Wellesley, United States, where she will specialize in entrepreneurship and finance. Another post highlighted Anya Kunder, who will be attending NYU (New York University) to study economics and data science. On Twinkle Khanna and Kajol’s show Two Much, Farah said she started her YouTube to channel to finance her children’s education. “Even when my movie was not happening, when I wasn’t directing, I said chal (come on), let me do YouTube. Also, I have 3 kids who will go to university next year, and that’s bloody expensive. So I just said for a change, let me start a show on YouTube, and that just clicked,” she said.
Farah, who was blessed with triplets shortly after the release of her blockbuster film Om Shanti Om, conceived through IVF. Recently, while speaking to her close friend Sania Mirza about her pregnancy, Farah said: “Because I was carrying triplets, everything was three times more intense. I would throw up constantly, and my body broke out in rashes. I had rashes all over my stomach. I could barely sleep, at any time, one of the babies was pressing on my bladder. I practically lived in the loo.”
Describing the emotional toll, she added: “I had to take daily injections on my thigh or stomach. The first two times it didn’t work, I just lay in bed crying for two days. I didn’t even realise how badly I wanted to be a mother until it failed. I was 42, shooting Om Shanti Om, and full of hormones—it was overwhelming.”
