Prince Harry accused of bullying, harassment chair of charity he quit | World News

The head of a charity co-founded Prince Harry to help young people with HIV and AIDS in Lesotho and Botswana has accused him of “harassment and bullying at scale”, as Prince quit the charity a few days ago due to a dispute which he called “devastating”.
The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, started the charity Sentebale in 2006 in memory of his late mother Princess Diana who died in a car accident in 1997.
A few days ago, Harry left the charity along with co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho and the board of trustees due to a dispute with the Chair of charity, Sophie Chandauka.

During an interview with Sky News, Chandauka said that the manner in which Prince Harry quit the charity Sentebale, which he co-founded, amounted to “harassment and bullying at scale.”

“At some point on Tuesday, Prince Harry authorised the release of a damaging piece of news to the outside world without informing me or my country directors, or my executive director,” Chandauka said as quoted Reuters.
BBC, quoting a source close to former trustees and patrons, reported that they “fully expected this publicity stunt”. The source added that the former trustees remain firm in their decision of quitting.
Chandauka, during the interview with Sky News, further added “And can you imagine what that attack has done for me, on me and the 540 individuals in the Sentebale organisations and their family.”Story continues below this ad
Prince Harry, while stepping down from the charity Sentebale along with co-founder Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, had said that the reason for their resignation was the relationship between the charity’s trustees and Chair Chandauka “broke down beyond repair”.
