Promotional assistance on capital investment in commercial vehicle manufacturing project
Incentive assistance on capital investment will be provided in the commercial vehicle manufacturing project under the Industry Promotion Policy in the Bagroda Industrial Area of Bhopal. 500 crore will be invested in this project and 3,200 people will be employed. Approval in this regard was given in the meeting of the Investment Promotion Committee held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Shri Chouhan said that priority should be provided to the local people in the industries established in the state.
It was informed in the meeting that this project would be provided with electricity at the rate of five rupees per unit for five years under the Industry Promotion Policy. Assistance will be provided in accordance with Industry Promotion Policy on Capital Investment in Investment Promotion Scheme for extension project of Textile units in Mandiadip of Raisen district and in Budhani of Satlapur and Sehore district by Vardhaman Textiles Limited. Along with this, electricity will be provided at the rate of five rupees per unit for five years. The expansion projects will be invested by Vardhaman Textiles Limited to 1361.18 million rupees. Nearly two thousand people will get employment in the project.
The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Shri Jayant Malaiya, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Rajendra Shukla, Energy Minister Shri Paras Jain, Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Lie, Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce, Shri Manoj Shrivastav, Principal Secretary, Commerce and Industry, Mr. Mohammed Suleiman, Principal Secretary, Finance, Mr. Anurag Jain, Principal Secretary, Energy Shri I.C.P. Keyheri, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri S.K. Mishra and Managing Director Trifek Mr. Vivek Porwal were also present.
