Meeting with Putin can be skipped if ceasefire agreement is reached at anbul: Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Thursday that a planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin can be skipped if a ceasefire agreement between the two nations is reached during technical discussions in anbul, Turkey.
Speaking at a press conference in Ankara, the Ukrainian president said that if Moscow shows no intention of participating in the ceasefire talks, then other countries should intensify political and economic pressure on Russia and introduce additional sanctions.
“Russia does not feel the need to end (the war), which indicates that there is insufficient political, economic, and other pressure on the Russian Federation,” he said. “Therefore, we ask that if there is no ceasefire, if no serious decisions are made … we call for appropriate sanctions.”
