Rahul Dravid on 2023 ODI World Cup final: ‘We beat Travis Head’s bat 15 times’ | Cricket News
Former Team India head coach Rahul Dravid said luck was not on their side in the 2023 ODI World Cup final against Australia. India lost the final six wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
“Sometimes at the end of the day, you need a little bit of luck,” Rahul Dravid said at the CEAT Cricket Awards event.
Dravid recalled how Indian fast bowlers kept beating Travis Head bat but failed to get the wicket of Australian opener.
“I remember whatever it was, we beat Travis Head’s bat 15 times — he did not touch a single ball,” said Rahul Dravid.
“You know, things can go your way sometimes, but you have to stick to the process. I have had time to reflect on it. I have had time to reflect on a lot of things we have done.
