Raid 2 teaser: Ajay Devgn’s Amay Patnaik is all set to conduct his 75th raid, locks horns with Riteish Deshmukh’s Dada Bhai | Bollywood News
Ajay Devgn is all set to return to the big screen as Amay Patnaikin the film Raid 2. Ahead of the movie’s release on May 1, the makers of Raid 2 shared the film’s teaser on Friday. The one-minute-long teaser introduced the film’s characters. While Ajay Devgn and Saurabh Shukla will reprise their roles, actors Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor are among the new additions.
The teaser starts with Ajay’s Amay heading for his 75th raid after 74 transfers. In 74 raids, Amay Patnaik has collected about Rs 4200 crore. Soon, the focus shits to Saurabh Shukla’s character, Rameshwar Singh, who is serving his term in jail. He says, “I wonder whose life Patnaik might be making miserable.”
We are then introduced to Riteish Deshmukh’s character, Dada Bhai, who seemingly plays a politician in the film. Riteish, on a phone call with Ajay Devgn, says, “Since when did the Pandavas lay traps?”, to which Ajay Devgn replies, “I never said I am a Pandav. I am the Mahabharata.”

Raj Kumar Gupta will return to the director’s chair for the film with Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak and Kumar Mangat Pathak as its producers. The second part of the film is written Ritesh Shah, Raj Kumar Gupta, Jaideep Yadav, and Karan Vyas.
