One of the team activities was a trek in the near mountains, which the support staff thoroughly enjoyed. Head coach Rahul Dravid, along with batting coach Vikram Rathore and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, were seen in a video shared the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), completely immersing themselves in nature and embracing the challenging climb. Dravid expressed his desire for the players to experience this marvellous journey in the future, as it was deemed too risky for them at the time.
Meanwhile, Indian captain Virat Kohli opted for a different experience visiting an ashram.
In addition to these individual activities, the team management organised a ramp show for the players and support staff at the team hotel. Each member of the team had to walk on the ramp as if they were part of a fashion show. While it remains unclear who judged the show and who emerged as the winner, what is evident is that the Indian team ended their night with a great bonding session, further strengthening the camaraderie within the squad.
The Indian cricket team’s success in the ongoing World Cup tournament has undoubtedly played a crucial role in fostering a vibrant and energetic dressing room environment. The players are not only enjoying each other’s success but are also openly expressing their admiration for the team spirit. In fact, one player described the team as “one family,” highlighting the unity and harmony that permeate the Indian squad.
The team’s performance on the field has been nothing short of exceptional, as they have won all five games played so far. This winning streak, coupled with the positive environment within the team, undoubtedly contributes to their confidence and overall performance. Most Read

The Indian team has also introduced the concept of the best fielder medal during the World Cup, which further promotes healthy competition and recognises outstanding fielding efforts. After each game, the fielding coach identifies the best fielder of the match and presents them with a unique medal, adding an extra element of motivation and appreciation for the players.

While the team management had prohibited the players from engaging in activities such as trekking or paragliding in Dharamsala due to safety concerns, the players made the most of their time off. Those who were accompanied their spouses ventured out for a quick lunch, while the others decided to relax and unwind in the comfort of their hotel.
As the Indian team prepares to face England in their next match at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, the team’s refreshed and rejuvenated spirits are sure to serve as an asset in their quest for victory.
