Ranbir Kapoor gets minor lip injury while playing football with Ishaan Khatter, Ibrahim Ali Khan

Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is passionate about football and he is often seen playing the sport with his friends. Like almost every Sunday, he was spotted at a football field in Juhu, playing a friendly match in the evening. As the actor was acing the sport and making a few goals, he got injured. The actor got bruised on his lower lip as another player’s hand smashed his face.

Even after he suffered the injury, the actor did not stop fans from taking pictures and videos with him. Whenever someone approached him, he happily stopped for a click. That’s not all, he even stopped for a click for the paps and he showed the injury to them. A video of the same surfaced online.

Dhadak actor Ishaan Khatter and Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan were also spotted on the field, playing football with Ranbir. Ishaan was sporting a white tank top and black track pants. While Ibrahim was sporting red and white striped jersey along with black shorts.

On the work front, Ranbir will be next seen in Brahmastra co-starring Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. The film is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji and bankrolled by Karan Johar. It is the first film of a trilogy. The shooting started in February last year and the first schedule was shot in Bulgaria. The release date of the film has not been announced yet.

Other than this, Ranbir will also be seen in Shamshera which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. The action-adventure movie is being produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film is written and helmed by Karan Malhotra. It is set in the 1800s and revolves around a dacoit tribe who fights with the British for their rights and independence. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a double role, as Shamshera and his father.
