Even in its fourth week, the Aditya Dhar directorial shows no signs of slowing down. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned Rs 15.75 crore in India on Thursday, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 739 crore as per early estimates.
Worldwide, the film’s collection stands at Rs 1,117.9 crore, including Rs 250 crore from overseas markets. Having crossed the Rs 1,100 crore mark, Dhurandhar has surpassed the box-office collections of Stree 2, Chhaava, Pathaan, and Pushpa 2, among others. It has also become the highest earning single-language film. As its successful box-office run continues, Dhurandhar now ranks as the seventh-highest-grossing Indian film of all time.Story continues below this ad

As per Sacnilk, earlier this week, the film also broke Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan’s record in North America. On Tuesday, Dhurandhar crossed the $17.50 million mark, overtaking Pathaan’s collection in North America. After Baahubali 2 and Kalki 2898 AD, Dhurandhar is now the third biggest film in North America.

While Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 and Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri failed to sustain their run at the box office amidst the Dhurandhar wave, Agastya Nanda’s Ikkis opened to great reviews on Thursday. With Dhurandhar continuing its strong run, the question is whether Ikkis will manage to pull in a respectable box-office haul. For now, it remains a wait-and-watch scenario.
