RCB playoff scenario: A crucial game for Bangalore in the city of Nizams
IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will play visitors to Sunrisers Hyderabad for their last league match of the tournament. With a run rate of +0.166, the Faf-led side are currently placed fifth in the points table.
The 112-run victory in Jaipur gave RCB the boost they needed for their sputtering season. Their chances of finishing with 16 points were not only maintained, but their NRR was also increased from -0.345 to +0.166.

Also, the fact that Punjab Kings lost to Delhi Capitals has greatly benefited them because their only rival now is Mumbai Indians, who may also finish the league stage with 16 points like RCB. Additionally, the three-time runners-up have a higher net run rate than the five-time champions, which makes their route even simpler.
Therefore, in order for RCB to finish with 14 points and lose one of their remaining games, they must also hope that MI loses their final match and that RR, KKR, PBKS, and MI all have net run rates that are lower than theirs.
