RCB Squad 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore complete players l and squad | Cricket News

Royal Challengers Bangalore Squad 2024: Perennial bridesmaids of the Indian Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore, will go into the IPL 2024 auction on Tuesday at Dubai with a couple of priorities, primarily picking up an overseas bowling option to complement Mohammaed Siraj in the pace department.
The team has already addressed one deficiency adding Australian Cameron Green to their middle order. The Australian was bought in the IPL 2023 auction the Mumbai Indians for a whopping price tag of Rs 17.50 crore, making him the second most expensive player in the IPL. However, Mumbai decided to trade him to RCB to make space for Hardik Pandya.
“We have got a strong core of retaining players, and we have got a very powerful top order. Part of the decision-making that we had around our player release decisions was to try and strengthen the middle order and bringing Cameron Green was a fantastic move,” Mo Bobat, the Director of Cricket for RCB had recently said at the RCB Innovation Lab’s Leaders Meet India.
“Mohammad Siraj is a core part of what we do. So supporting Siraj with some more bowling options, including overseas bowling options, is going to be a real priority for us moving forward. Then we have got a core of local spinners, which I think is quite strong. Some of them got some opportunities over the last year or two and they might play more leading roles moving forward,” Bobat added.
