RCB vs RR tip-off XI: Hazelwood to return, Willey for Parnell, toss-up between Holder and Zampa

IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 32nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore are coming fresh off a victory against the Punjab Kings, which they won 24 runs. Rajasthan Royals, on the other side, lost their last match 10 runs to Lucknow Super Giants.
RCB is currently ranked fifth on the IPL points table for this season, while Rajasthan Royals are the table toppers.
RCB vs RR Head to head stats: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals have faced off in 25 IPL matches so far, with 13 victories each for RCB and 12 victories for RR.
Here’s the playing XI tip-off for RCB vs RR:
Hazlewood to get a game
Josh Hzlewood joined the RCB camp last week and was going rehabilitation from an Achilles injury. The Australian didn’t accompany the RCB clan to Mohali in their last game.
Meanwhile, Hazlewood was seen training ahead of the game against RCB and is likely to feature in the side’s clash against Rajasthan at their home ground.
David Willey to replace Parnell
Another change for the hosts could be that England’s David Willey is likely to replace SA’s Wayne Parnell. Apart from this, skipper Faf du Plesis’ inclusion in the playing XI would be a crucial decision for the management given his rib injury.
Zampa in for Holder
So far, Rajasthan Royals haven’t used Jason Holder to his full potential. If the afternoon sun makes the pitch dryer, there may be a case for Adam Zampa to play. If they choose to bat first, they can delay the decision until the innings break starting with three overseas players.
RCB vs RR Pitch Report: The team bowling first has won 9 of the 16 matches that have been played on this balanced pitch, while the team batting first has won 6 of those matches. This pitch’s standard grade is 135. After winning the toss, it would be wise to start the game with a bowl.
