Realme 6i launched as world’s first smartphone with MediaTek’s Helio G80 SoC

Realme has unveiled Relme 6i – the successor to the Realme 5i launched earlier this year. It is touted to be the world’s first smartphone to come powered by MediaTek’s Helio G80 SoC.

The Realme 6i brings a 6.5-inch HD+ display that features a notch housing a 16-megapixel selfie camera. There’s a quad-camera module on the back panel comprising a 48-megapixel lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, a 2-megapixel portrait sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

The handset is priced at 2,49,990 Myanmar Kyat (Rs 13,100 roughly) for the entry-level 3GB+64GB storage version and 2,99,990 Myanmar Kyat (Rs 15,700 roughly) for the higher 4GB+128GB storage variant. It is available for pre-order and will go on sale in Myanmar starting 29 March 2020. Its availability in the Indian market is unknown at the moment.
