Redmi Note 8 with 48-megapixel camera, Snapdragon 665 SoC launched: Price and specs

The Redmi Note 8 series has been launched in the Indian market. The Note 8 series comprises of the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 as well. The Redmi Note 8 features a Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor 48-megapixel camera, and boasts of a new design structure and comes loaded with MIUI 11 out fo the box.

The Redmi Note 8 has been priced at Rs 9,999 for the 4/64GB variant. The 6/128GB variant has been launched at Rs 12,999 in the Indian market. The Redmi Note 8 will become available on October 21 at 12 noon and will go on sale on Mi.com, Amazon.in, and Mi Home as well. The Note 8 will also be available at Mi Partner stores across India.

The Redmi Note 8 arrives with a 48-megapixel quad-camera module which comprises of ultra-wide and macro lenses. The display outside is a 6.3-inch LCD screen capable of Full HD+ resolution and protected by a Dual Corning Gorilla Glass.

Apart from this, the camera setup of the Redmi Note 8 also comprises of four lenses – primary being a 48-megapixel lens with the latest Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor. The rest of the set-up comprises of an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel dedicated macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone gets a 13-megapixel lens for selfies.

The Redmi Note 8 is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 18W charging support and USB-C port. The phone also gets 3.5 mm audio jack. The Redmi Note 8 arrives with an 18W fast charger in the box.

The Redmi Note 8 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Redmi Note 8 gets a splash-proof design and also gets increased volume and auto-cleaning speaker feature.
