Nick Reiner, the son of director Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, has been taken into custody after the couple was found dead in their Los Angeles home

The couple was found stabbed to death on Sunday in an apparent homicide, according to the police.

Who is Nick Reiner?

According to the BBC, 23-year-old Nick is the middle son of the family. Nick has worked as a screenwriter, most notably having co-written the screenplay for the 2016 film “Being Charlie”, which was directed Rob Reiner.

The film, about a drug-addicted teenager, was loosely based on his own addiction struggles, he told People at the time of its release.
