Rohit Sharma reacts angrily at Piyush Chawla after fielding error during GT vs MI in IPL 2023
IPL 2023 GT vs MI: Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma was miffed with veteran teammate Piyush Chawla during the first innings of the match between Gujarat Titans against MI in an Indian Premier League match on Tuesday.
Chawla, who was the pick of the bowlers for MI with figures of 2 for 34, even as the team let GT score 207/6 in 20 overs, made a make in the 17th over of Gujarat’s innings.
Stationed at short third man, Chawla failed to stop a ball that would needed a simple effort on field. However, the 41-year-old took his eyes off the ball as the ball passed between his legs towards the ropes.
Skipper Rohit Sharma was seen visibly upset with the effort and the outburst was there for everyone to see.
Chawla too was left immensely disappointed at his efforts even as the commentator saw the lighter side of the innings.

Meanwhile, Gill continued his fine form and smashed a 34-ball 56 to guide Gujarat Titans to an imposing total. Besides, David Miller hit a quickfire 46 off 22 balls, as Gujarat Titans added 70 runs in the last four overs to go past the 200-run mark.
Rahul Tewatia also smashed an unbeaten 20 in just five balls, while Abhinav Manohar needed only 21 deliveries to make 42 during a vital partnership of 71 runs for the fifth wicket with the South African.
