Ruturaj Gaikwad has been handed the reins to the India A squad for the team’s upcoming tour of Australia in October and November this year.
Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary Jay Shah announced the India A squad for the tour of Australia late on Monday via a press release.
Shah said that the Men’s Selection Committee for the BCCI had picked a 15-member India A squad. The India A team will play two first-class matches against Australia A in Mackay and Melbourne respectively and then take part in a three-day intra-squad game against Team India (Senior Men) in Perth.
