Actor Sheeba Aggarwal, who was last seen alongside Sonu Sood and Jacquline Fernandez in the action-thriller Fateh, opened up about her experiences in the industry in a new interview. She said that she was neighbours with Amrita Singh when she was younger, and that Amrita’s dog killed her Pomeranian. Sheeba admitted that she was scarred the event. The Jigra actor shared many other anecdotes, name-dropping colleagues such as Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Sunil Dutt and Shah Rukh Khan.
In an interview with Lehren Retro, Sheeba and her actor-husband Akashdeep Sabir shed light on their time in Bollywood, and how they once lived right beside the then-married Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh.  “We used to live in the same society, and she (Amrita) had a German Shepherd, and he was not trained and wasn’t supposed to be an unleashed dog. I am an animal lover, and I understand how different kinds of pets should be handled,” added the actor.

Meanwhile, Akashdeep defended Saif and Amrita and remarked that “to give the couple their due, they were not at home and were shooting somewhere; the house help left the door open, and my two Pomeranians were out for a walk, and the German Shepherd tore them apart.
“My watchman called me and told me that I needed to get back as soon as possible. When I asked what the matter was, he just said, ‘Saif aapka kutta khaa gaya’ (Saif ate your dog), and I just couldn’t understand what he was talking about,” Akashdeep shared, as he and Sheeba burst out laughing. Sheeba said that the tragedy had a grave impact on her. “I was horrified and upset, and I went through a very bad phase,” she said.
Sheeba Aggarwal made her Bollywood debut in the film Yeh Aag Kab Bhujegi, alongside Sunil Dutt, in 1991. Since then she has worked in many prominent films such as Koi Mil Gaya (2003) and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023).
