Salman Khan, 59, says he will have children, family will raise them; Twinkle Khanna jokes he might have 12 kids already | Bollywood News

A few years ago, Salman Khan got himself the title of the “eternal virgin” when he claimed so himself on Koffee with Karan, and in a new interview, Salman has now declared that he wants to have children. The actor, who will turn 60 in December, shared that he has never wanted to adopt, but plans on having children someday. He added that he has a big family who will be more than happy to raise his children.
In a chat on Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, where he was present with Aamir Khan, Twinkle joked with Salman that he was the “eternal virgin” and added that “he may have 12 (children) and we don’t know about them, and you (Salman) may not know as well.” Salman responded cheekily, “You would have gotten to know if I had (children).” When Twinkle said that perhaps, Salman also doesn’t know, he added, “I would have been the first one to know. They would have come.”
On the subject of kids, Twinkle asked him if he ever planned to adopt a child, and Salman gave a blanket no. But, he quickly added that he plans to have children. “Children, I will have one day. Soon…” he said. As Twinkle asked about the timeline, he said, “Whenever… It’s just that eventually, one will have kids but… let’s see. God willing.”

Salman comes from a big family with four siblings, and many nephews and nieces. He said that he would be relying on them to take care of the children. “And there is a whole village, a whole zilla (drict) to take care of the children. You know, there are women in the family. Now Alizeh has grown up and Ayaan has grown up. And now we have Aayat. the time I have kids, even Aayat will be able to take care of the kids,” he said.
Kajol then wondered if Salman was ever under any kind of pressure from his parents to get married or have children, and he said that dad Salim Khan and mom Salma Khan have never insed on any such thing. “There has never been any pressure from Dad, Mom or anybody to get married or to have children,” he said.
