Salman Khan to shoot with Varun Dhawan for the climax sequence

Salman Khan never ceases to surprise his fans. For all those who were waiting with bated breath to catch a glimpse of Salman in the much awaited sequel of Judwaa (1997), here’s some good news. The 51-year-old will be making a special appearance in Judwaa 2, helmed by David Dhawan.

In fact, Salman, who played a double role—Raja and Prem, in the 1997 blockbuster, would be reprising the same roles in the sequel as well. Actor Varun Dhawan, who plays the lead in Judwaa 2, will begin shooting the last schedule, along with Salman, in Mumbai soon.

“Salman will appear as both Raja and Prem, his twin characters from the film, who have aged by 20 years. His Judwaa will come face-to-face with Varun’s double role, possibly bantering in the climax scene,” a source told Mid Day, adding, “The team recently wrapped up the London schedule. They will begin the final leg of shoot in Mumbai next month with Salman joining them for a few hours.”

The team seemed to have enjoyed during their London schedule. Varun, along with actors Taapsee Pannu [reprising the role of Rambha] and Jacqueline Fernandez [reprising the role of Karisma Kapoor], who are also part of the cast, posted many videos on Instagram and Twitter.

Salman, who is in Mumbai for the promotions of his film Tubelight, will start shooting for Judwaa 2 soon. The film is slated to release on September 29, 2017. Fans surely can’t wait.
