Sikandar box office collection day 3: Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s big Eid release, Sikandar, had an unimpressive start at the box office, considering his massive stardom and preceding hype. The film opened to mixed reviews, and with the Eid celebrations fizzling out, the box office returns have also started to dwindle. After performing decently on its first two days, Sikandar took a 32.76 percent hit on day three. The film was released on a Sunday. Despite that, Sikandar managed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in two days. On Sunday, it earned Rs 26 crore, on Monday, the film earned Rs 29 crore, but on Tuesday, Sikandar saw a drop and only earned Rs 19.5 crore.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Sikandar’s nett India collections after three days are Rs 74.5 crore. Worldwide, the film has earned Rs 95.75 crore, with around Rs 30 crore coming from overseas markets. The official numbers shared the production house, however, claim that Sikandar has passed the Rs 100 crore mark in just two days.

So far, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava remains the biggest Hindi hit of the year, and Sikandar’s performance suggests that it won’t be able to give Chhaava a run for its money. comparison, Salman’s previous release, Tiger Zinda Hai, collected Rs 45.53 crore on day three, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected Rs 38.75 crore on day three.

Sikandar’s overall Hindi occupancy on Tuesday was 19.42 percent with a total of 7333 shows running all over India. Sikdandar’s highest occupancy was observed in Lucknow, at 32.25 percent with 334 shows. After Lucknow, Bengaluru delivered a 29.75 percent occupancy from 438 shows. The occupancy in Hyderabad was at 27 percent with 384 shows. In Mumbai, the Salman Khan-starrer had an occupancy of 22.25 percent with 1283 shows, while in Delhi-NCR, the film’s occupancy was 16.50 percent, with 1778 shows in total.

Sikandar is directed AR Murugadoss and produced Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Salman Khan Films. Other than Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, Sikandar also stars Sharman Joshi, Anjini Dhawan, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sathyaraj in important roles. The film was released in theaters on 30th March.
