Samantha- Naga Chaitanya wedding: All you need to know about the bride

Tollywood’s most popular on-screen couple Naga Chaitanya and Samntha tied the knot on Friday, 6 October as per Hindu customs. The wedding celebrations kicked off with ‘mehendi’ at 3 pm and in the presence of their family members and close friends Naga Chaitanya tied the ‘mangala sutra’ at the auspicious time of 11.52 pm. The couple has two weddings and the one according to Christian rituals will be held today. Meanwhile, here is all you need to know about the beautiful bride.
Samantha was born and raised in Chennai’s Pallavaram. While pursuing her degree in commerce, she worked part-time on modelling assignments. She made her debut in Gautham Menon’s critically acclaimed Telugu romance film, ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ in 2010. The film went on to become a massive hit. The film was later remade in Tamil as ‘Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya,’in which Samantha played a small cameo role.
Since then, she has primarily opted to appear in the leading female role in hero-centric films. She was then seen in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookadu,’ SS Rajamouli’s ‘Eega,’ ‘Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu’ and many more films in Tamil and Telugu. An important movie in her career was ‘Manam’ in which she shared screen space with the Akkineni family. The actress has said that she will continue acting post her wedding and she has signed several big projects.
