After Suhana Khan, Kartik Aaryan buys land in Alibaug for Rs 2 cr; is Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan’s neighbour | Bollywood News

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has expanded his property portfolio as he recently bought land in Alibaug. According to reports, Kartik has purchased a 2,000 square feet plot in an Alibaug project for Rs 2 crore. He is among the celebrities to invest in a luxury villa compound.
Kartik Aaryan spoke about his latest investment to Hindustan Times and revealed that he plans to build his own home on the property. He said, “Alibaug has become one of the most exciting places to invest in today — close to Mumbai and I plan to build my own home there. This is the first time I have invested in land.”
Along with Kartik, Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan have also bought properties in the area. They have purchased plots as part of the same Alibaug project, titled Sol de Alibaug. In 2024, Big B purchased a 10,000 sq ft land parcel in Alibaug for Rs 10 crore. Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, bought a 2,000 sq ft plot in the same project.

The project is said to come with various amenities. Reports state that it will include a reflexology track, a multipurpose hall, a rooftop garden, a pool deck, a lounge room, and two expansive clubhouses for recreation and community engagement.
Alibaug is known as a second-home destination for many Bollywood celebrities and industrials, offering an escape from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and a chance to live amid nature. Many celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, Rahul Khanna, and others own properties in the region.
In 2023, Suhana Khan purchased an agricultural property in Alibaug’s Thal village for Rs 12.91 crore. The regration documents of this property describe Suhana as an “agricultur.” However, according to reports, Suhana landed in trouble with the property as it was originally allocated the government in that village to farmers for agricultural use.
