Alkhir was involved in executing attacks against Israeli soldiers, the IDF said, while adding that the airstrike was carried out the 99th Division’s 990th Reserve Artillery Regiment after taking measures to mitigate civilian harm.
“Additionally, over ten terrors were eliminated & 20+ military infrastructure sites dismantled. In Gaza City, IDF troops continue to expand activity while troops in Khan Yunis and Rafah continue to operate against terror threats,” the IDF said.
Israeli forces control Gaza City’s eastern suburbs and in recent days, they have been pounding the Sheikh Radwan and Tel Al-Hawa areas, from where they would be positioned to advance on central and western areas, where most of the population is sheltering.

Hamas says it will not disarm until a Palestinian state is established. Numerous attempts to mediate an end to the conflict have failed.
