Since late last night, X (formerly Twitter) has been flooded with leaked images and videos from the sets of King, the highly anticipated Shah Rukh Khan venture currently being filmed in Warsaw, Poland. The shoot has been underway for the past two days, and fans are already abuzz with excitement thanks to the viral visuals surfacing online.
One widely shared image shows Shah Rukh Khan sporting a salt-and-pepper grey hairstyle, sunglasses, and visible tattoos on his hand, reportedly key to his character in the film. The actor appears to be walking out of a McDonald’s, seemingly in costume, which has only added to speculation about his role.

A video doing the rounds captures Shah Rukh walking alongside his longtime manager Pooja Dadlani and trusted security head Ravi Singh. The trio appears to be heading towards the monitor, presumably to check a take. Director Siddharth Anand can also be seen standing next to the screen, further confirming the team’s active presence on set.

Adding to the buzz is actor Arshad Warsi, who is also shooting for the film. He recently shared a post on Instagram, captioned: “No prize for guessing where I am, shooting with my favourite, Thank you God.” Siddharth Anand responded to the post with a comment that read: “Welcome to the Kingdom.” Since this morning, videos of Arshad chilling on set with his son have also been going viral.

While the makers have remained tight-lipped about the plot of King, several reports suggest that Shah Rukh will play a seasoned assassin tasked with training Suhana Khan’s character for a deadly mission. Siddharth Anand appears to have pulled off a major casting coup for the project, with strong rumours that Abhishek Bachchan is set to play the primary antagon. The ensemble cast is believed to include Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, and Jaideep Ahlawat. Ahlawat himself confirmed his involvement a few months ago during an interview with The Lallantop.
Last month, Shah Rukh Khan sustained an injury on the sets of King and had to be flown to the U.S. for surgery. His appearance at the launch event of his son Aryan Khan’s show The Ba**ds of Bollywood* saw him in an arm sling. However, these recent leaked images and videos suggest that the superstar has recovered well and is back to doing what he does best — commanding the camera with unmatched presence.
