Sharad Yadav slams Centre, MP government for crime against women

BHOPAL: Former Union minister Sharad Yadav has slammed the Centre as well as the state government for the rising cases of crime against women and mob lynchings. He was in Bhopal on Thursday to unite regional parties against BJP for the upcoming assembly elections. He criticised Modi government’s policies like demonetisation and GST and termed Bhavantar scheme of Madhya Pradesh government as a tool to fool farmers.

Yadav, patron of Loktantrik Janata Dal, said that there is undeclared emergency in the country. He urged the Congress to ensure that there is no division of opposition votes.
Yadav said, “I have never seen such a government, which has destroyed the country in a span of four years.” Alleging that there is an atmosphere of fear prevailing in the country, Yadav urged the people to save the country and its Constitution. The LJD leader said that instead of creating two crore jobs as promised by the BJP during election campaign, its demonetisaion move has deprived people of their jobs. Yadav blamed state government headed by Chouhan for destroying Narmada and Tawa rivers through illegal mining.
Bahujan Sangharsh Dal president Phool Singh Baraiya that alleged most of the slaughterhouses exporting beef in the country are run by Hindus. Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit and state Communist leaders were also present at the convention.
