US President Donald Trump has come out in support of embattled Attorney General Pam Bondi on Saturday amid a backlash against her some of the MAGA supporters over a dispute between her and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, about how the Justice Department handled the investigation into the death of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The Justice Department has decided not to release any additional files related to Epstein and the DOJ confirmed that the files didn’t contain any l detailing Epstein’s clients. Bongino reportedly, frustrated over Bondi’s decision, had a heated argument with the attorney general and threatened to resign from his post amid the disagreement.
Uniting his MAGA base and supporting Bondi, Trump said “nobody cares about” Epstein and that more time and effort should not be wasted on that case.

Trump sought to unify the MAGA base in a 400-word post on Truth Social as the US president’s supporters’ disagreements over the handling of Epstein files has become a flashpoint among MAGA conservatives.
The FBI and Justice Department issued a joint memo on Monday wherein they said that there was no evidence to support several long-held conspiracy theories about Epstein’s death in federal custody in 2019 and the alleged clients l.
President Trump mentioned FBI Director Kash Patel in his post and said that his agency must be focused on a l of other priorities, “instead of spending month after month looking at nothing but the same old, Radical Left inspired Documents on Jeffrey Epstein.”Story continues below this ad
The joint memo on Epstein concluded that there was “no incriminating client l” after reviewing more than 300GB data and that there was no proof that Epstein may have blackmailed prominent people.
