Shikhar Dhawan’s perfect response to people who tried to troll Team India
Shikhar Dhawan had the perfect response for people, who tried to troll him and the Indian cricket team on Instagram.
On Wednesday, Dhawan posted a photo of on Instagram, where he was seen having fun outside the team hotel and captioned it: “Crazy boys and non-stop fun @hardikpandya93…With a priceless @rishabpant expression.”
The photo showed Dhawan lying down while Hardik Pandya was trying to take a beanie off Dhawan’s head. Rishabh Pant was also seen in the picture…with an expression, that according to Dhawan was “priceless”.
But, few fans didn’t take it well and started blaming the Indian team for their poor show in the five-match Test series that India lost 1-3 after their defeat in the fourth Test in Southampton. However, Dhawan had the perfect response for the fans and said that everyone in the team is equally disappointed but having light moments is necessary in life and that is what they are doing.
Dhawan didn’t mention this in the caption but commented it on the post.
“People who have been writing negative stuff. We are also hurt the day you guys are. It is important to learn from our mistakes and move forward. We give our best for the nation everytime we walk on the ground and most important thing is as a team we should be in a good mindset before the next game.
“We cannot change the past. So we do our hardwork at the ground as always and keep our process strong. After practice it is important to laugh and be happy so we create positivity in the team. That’s what champions do. Easy to be happy when winning. Warriors stay positive when things are down too. Thanks to the fans who are still supporting us,” Dhawan wrote.
Poor form of Dhawan along with his opening partners KL Rahul and Murali Vijay have been a cause of concern for India during the Test series as they haven’t fired at all in the four Tests played so far.
Dhawan has scored 158 runs from three matches so far while Rahul has managed 113 from four matches. Vijay, who was dropped from the squad for the last two Tests, managed 26 runs from two matches.
India, who are now trailing the Test series 1-3, will have the chance to play for pride and do some damage control, when they get down to play the final Test at the Oval starting on September 7.
