Sidharth Malhotra escorts pregnant Kiara Advani at Met Gala, calls her and their to-be child ‘bravehearts’ | Bollywood News

Sidharth Malhotra was a proud husband on Monday as his wife, Kiara Advani, walked the red carpet at the prestigious Met Gala in New York for the first time. She also revealed her ba bump in public for the first time. The couple is all set to become parents this year. They announced the pregnancy in February.
Sidharth was seen dressed in an all-black attire as he escorted Kiara to the Met. He posed for pictures with a few fans, and smiled at a camera while holding Kiara’s hands as they walked towards the red carpet. Sidharth and Kiara also clicked pictures with other guests, as the internet hailed him as a “supportive husband.”

Sidharth took to his Instagram handle to share Kiara’s post in which she shared “moments before the Met,” with red heart and hug emojis. However, that carousel post consed only of her close-up shots. Sidharth shared another Kiara post, in which she revealed her entire look. Sidharth wrote along with it, “(Red heart emoji) Both bravehearts.”
For her Met Gala debut, Kiara opted for a custom couture creation Gaurav Gupta. The look paid homage to the late Andre Leon Talley, legendary fashion editor and Black icon, through a dramatic double-panelled cape — a nod to his iconic silhouettes and influence on the fashion world.

Speaking about her Met Gala debut, Kiara said in a statement, ‘Making my Met Gala debut at this point in my life, as both an art and mother-to-be, feels incredibly special. When my styl, Anaita (Shroff), approached Gaurav to design my look, he created ‘Bravehearts’, a vision that honours the transformative phase I’m stepping into connecting it beautifully to this year’s dress code, Tailored for You.
“Inspired the legacy of Andre Leon Talley, we reflected on what it means to show up with intention, individuality and strength. This is a silent tribute to that: It’s a reminder that everything we do paves the way for the next generation,” Kiara added. She paired her black gown with a golden breastplate. She also relied on accessories and wore charms on her nails along with chunky golden jewellery on her fingers. Her wavy hairdo rounded off her appearance.

Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan in February 2023. The couple – who worked together for the first time on the acclaimed film Shershaah (2021) — had kept their relationship private. They announced Kiara’s pregnancy earlier this year with a photo of ba socks on Instagram, along with the caption, “The greatest gift of our lives… Coming soon.”
