Music composer Palash Muchhal joined his girlfriend, cricketer Smriti Mandhana, on the field to celebrate India’s triumph over South Africa at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
In the now-viral photo, Smriti is seen with the Indian flag draped around her shoulders as she holds the World Cup trophy, while Palash wraps his arm around the cricketer.

Fans are also going gaga over Palash’s tattoo that reads ‘SM 18’, a combination of Smriti Mandhana’s initials and her birth date, July 18, which also happens to be her jersey number.

For the unversed, Smriti Mandhana is set to marry Palash Muchhal soon. The wedding is reportedly scheduled for November 20 in Smriti’s hometown of Sangli, Maharashtra.
Last month, Palash confirmed his wedding to Smriti during a press meet. When asked about his bond with the cricketer, the Indore-based music composer said, “She will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore… that is all I want to say. I’ve given you your headline.”
