A few days ago, a billboard collaboration between Blinkit and Zomato went viral on social media, so much so that several brands, including KitKat, Hajmola and Netflix, shared their own versions of it. Not just this, the police departments also hopped onto the trend to create awareness among the masses. Now, a social activ’s take on the viral trend with heartwarming placards is doing the rounds on the Internet and is winning netizens’ hearts left, right and centre.“Be it war-stricken areas like the Syrian borders or the remotest of towns, Guru Nanak’s langar is available for everyone regardless of caste, colour, gender and creed! The same goes for protecting the honour of those with a blanket- since the 14th century!” wrote social activ Harteerath Singh Ahluwalia while sharing the video. He started his caption with the hashtag #SinghWithASign. In the video, Harteerath stands in front of Blinkit-Zomato billboards and holds cardboard placards. One of the placards reads, “Thand lagegi, Kambal denge (If you’ll feel cold, we’ll give you blankets).” “Khana mangoge, Langar denge (If you’ll ask for food, we’ll give you a free meal),” reads another.Watch the viral video below:
Since being shared two days ago, the video has raked up more than 4.7 million views, and the numbers are still increasing. The share has also prompted various responses from netizens.Take a look at the comments below:Blinkit reacted to the viral video and wrote, “Big fan sir.” They also added a heart emoticon. “Aced the trend in the most beautiful way,” posted an individual. “So proud of you. You add positivity to my feed,” expressed another. “And the trend winner is here,” wrote a third. “Happy to see this version of trend,” commented a fourth.
