On the professional front, Sohail Khan has been relatively absent from the big screen. He recently made an appearance in the Telugu film Arjun: Son of Vyjayanthi. His last Hindi film was 2017’s Tubelight, in which he starred alongside Salman Khan. He also runs his own production companym Sohail Khan Productions, which has backed several films including Radhe, Ready, Jai Ho, Partner, and more.

In an earlier interaction with PTI, Sohail admitted that he danced himself from acting because he wasn’t offered meaningful roles. He said, “I was not getting good work as an actor and I don’t want to act just for the sake of it. I had a couple of films in the past but I realised I had a good production house to fall back on. I thought let me direct, let me produce.”
